MIS/HPMS Raider Cafe

Raider Cafe Message

The Raider Cafe works hard in order to provide wonderful meal options for our children while also maintaining a balanced budget, with the help of so many tireless parents who volunteer each day! To further support the Raider Cafe’s efforts to this end, a new cafeteria account policy went into effect as of January 7, 2020.

Currently, students have the option to use cash or a cafeteria account to purchase food in the Raider Cafe.  The Raider Cafe offers the cafeteria account payment option as a convenience to the students and parents and, in turn, asks that parents help support the Raider Cafe’s efforts to keep a balanced budget by keeping their student’s cafeteria account balance positive at all times.  If a student’s cafeteria account reaches a balance of negative $15, the account will be closed until payment is made. As of January 7, 2020, the first time a student's cafeteria account reaches a balance of negative $15, the account will be closed until payment is made. The second time a student’s cafeteria account balance reaches negative $15, the account will be closed for the remainder of the school year and the student will only be allowed to use cash for purchases in the cafeteria.

To help avoid negative account balances, the Raider Cafe encourages parents to set up their student’s cafeteria account so that (1) the parent will receive low balance notifications, and (2) the account will be replenished automatically by a certain amount once the account reaches a negative balance.  For these settings to become active, however, the parent must select them through Skyward Family Access. Thank you to our amazing Raider community for all that you do to support the Cafeteria!  The Raider Cafe could not do the wonderful job it does without you!
