About Me

About Me:

I am so excited to start the 2025-2026 school year, my 22nd year of teaching, 16th at MIS/HPMS and 9th in House Lockhart.  Previously I taught special education before switching to 5th grade ELA. I received my education degree from UT Austin and my master's in language therapy from SMU.

 

I grew up in Dallas and attended Good Shepherd and then Ursuline. Now I reside in UP and love being so close to school.  My family lives in Dallas and you can find me with my adorable nieces around town. 

Again, I'm excited to be your child's ELA teacher this year, it's going to be a great one!
