HPMS Semester Exams

Semester exams take place the last week of the fall and spring semester. 

Semester exams are an important part of each student's academic grade and are scheduled during the final week of each semester. This year's exam windows are:

• Fall Semester Exams: December 14–18, 2026

• Spring Semester Exams: May 24–28, 2027

Students are expected to take their exams during their scheduled exam period. Early or alternate testing is not available for personal travel or convenience. We ask that families plan vacations, appointments, and other travel around these dates.  

Students who miss a scheduled semester exam due to an absence must contact their school counselor to arrange a make-up exam. Make-up exams are administered in January, following winter break, and during the first week of June, after the school year has concluded. As a result, final grades, report cards, and transcripts may be delayed until all make-up exams have been completed and graded.
