Today we took notes over Topic 1: Numeration. Attached is the ppt.

Homework: Create 3 notecards
1: Interesting fact with a number written in standard form (number needs to be above the hundred thousands place but no higher than hundred billions)
2. Word Form of the number
3. Expanded form of the number

Please use standard size notecards and different colors on each notecard.

Check your test review to help you prepare for the test. Turn in your review packet tomorrow before the test.

Problem of the Week: Train Switcharoo

Your grade for the POW will be based on participation and effort- not accuracy. Please give it your best shot and if you are able to solve it, I will have you share next Wednesday. Remember to fill out the blue half sheet to turn in next Wednesday (Sept. 11).

Finish the test review for Wednesday so I can answer questions and we can play a review game for the test on Thursday.

Typically, we create graphs based on frequency tables. Now, I want you to try and work backwards. Use the graphs given and create a frequency table. Remember to use the titles given for each graph.

Complete on a separate sheet of notebook paper.
Also include the median, mode, and range of the data. What interval does the graph use, or what would it use? What scale does the graph use, or what scale would you use if there is not a scale currently?

Quiz on Monday over graphing, median, mode, and range. Use the attached notes to help you study incase you forgot to take home your math spiral.

Create a collage about math describing your experiences with math.
What do you like about math? What do you dislike? What struggles do you have? Etc.

**Remember you may represent this in many different forms: written (paragraph- 5 sentences), make a collage, draw a picture, create a video, etc. I'm open to your ideas and creativity!***
