 One resource we use is the textbook: HOLT McDougal Mathematics.  This book is available online (your teacher will provide you with the username/password and it should be written in your agenda)

Congratulations if you tested in for TAG Math!  It moves at a quick pace but I also know some of my students are brand-new into the program.  Not only do we make sure the students are proficient with the fifth grade material, but we accomplish a good understanding of sixth grade math through projects, practice, and problem-solving.  I have my students do a lot of sharing and comparing to see different strategies and link the math to real-world examples.  Students in Fifth Grade TAG Math will continue to study:  number sense and operations (including integers, decimals, fractions, percents), geometry, statistics, probability, measurement, algebra, and much more.
