Hello MIS Families! My name is Mackensie Thomas and I teach 5th grade Language Arts for House of Agnew! I grew up in Plano, Texas and graduated from Bishop Lynch High School. After high school, I attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and am currently earning my master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas Tech. After graduating from A&M, I returned to the Dallas area to start my career and this will be my 7th year teaching 5th grade. Outside the classroom, I love watching Formula One racing, reading, and taking my dog, Georgia, on walks. I love being a part of the HPISD community and can't wait to meet you and your family this year!
