Greetings MIS students and families! I am so pleased to be teaching 5th Grade Social Studies in the House of Agnew. I was raised in Tomball, Texas, and lived there until I attended SMU. I am a 4th generation Mustang. Go Ponies! I earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Sociology in 2005 and a Master of Liberal Studies degree in 2014. I began my education career teaching 7th and 8th grade History and then joined the staff at MIS in 2009 where I taught 6th grade Social Studies for 11 years. I am happy to return to the incomparable students and staff at MIS!
I live in Lake Highlands with my husband Tad, daughter Libby, and son Hoss. I enjoy reading historical fiction, cooking for my family, traveling, and spending time outside.
