Welcome to 5th Grade Language Arts!

I am so excited to be working with your child this year! Together, we’ll explore great literature, grow as writers, and celebrate every success along the way.

This is my 14th year at MIS and my 19th year teaching, and I still love what I do every single day. I attended the University of North Texas, double majoring in English and political science, and earned my master’s degree in literature from Colorado State University. I can’t wait to partner with you to make this a wonderful and memorable year for your child!
