About Ms. Asher

Hi there Raiders! My name is Tippy Asher, and I teach 5th grade science on House of Douglas. This is my 10th year teaching science at MIS, and my first year as a 5th grade teacher. I attended the University of Arizona for my undergraduate degree and Texas A&M-Commerce for my graduate degree. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden as well as White Rock Lake. I also enjoy taking yoga and pilates classes. I have a son, Bear, who is the light of my life. I’m looking forward to a great year full of learning and exciting new experiences.
