Question:  What did you learn in this class?

 

“…in this class I had the most fun learning about the Medal of Honor recipients and how interesting their war stories were.” – Victoria T.

 

“In this class we learned all about the United States History but also how our country got to where it is at today. Such as the American Revolution, the signing of the Declaration Of Independence and The Civil War. I had the most fun learning about the Civil War. Not only is it a very interesting topic, but also a important one. It showed how the United States overcame its hardships and became the “Land Of The Free”.” – Sally P.

 

“In this class, we learned about the civil war, president, amendments, some geography, the constitution, compromises, the revolutionary war, and past boundary lines in America.

Question:  What was your favorite memory/project in this class?

 

“My favorite activities were review games we did before tests and quizzes. We usually either played quizlet live or kahoot. My favorite memory was when we played jeopardy as a class.” – John E.

 

“My favorite activity we did in class was when we learned about the Boston Massacre. In this activity we did in class, Mrs. Grigsby set up different stations for us to go to and learn about what really happened. It was fun to team up with classmates and look at the different stations (especially the crime scene).” – Jolie C.

 

“ My favorite memory was having big class discussions were everybody was involved and laughing. I would always leave Mrs. Grigsby’s class in a good mood and had a great time in her class.” – Lauren B.

 

“My favorite Activity we did in class was the Medal Of Honor Recipients videos. In this project we watched a video and filled out a sheet of paper on the video. My favorite memory was the whole thing I enjoyed the class.” – Row D.

Question:  What are things you need to know about Mrs. Grigsby or the class?

 

“Some things you need to know about Mrs. Grigsby are that she expects you to always be on your best behavior because you will be in high school soon. My favorite memory of Mrs. Grigsby was on the first day when she introduced herself and said that she shoots her cat (Beauregard) everyday.” – Emmy M.

“Some things you need to know about Mrs. Grigsby are she is calm and happy to explain something you are confused about. My favorite memory of Mrs. Grigsby was when me and my other two friends talked to her at the end of class.” – Nick N.

Question:  What is some Advice/Tips you would give to future students in this class?

 

Do your test reviews because their grades and it's what you have to study for the tests.” – Lily F.

 

“To be successful in this class you have to PAY ATTENTION AND DON'T BE DISRUPTIVE. Always do the homework even if others around you don't do it.” – Row D.

 

“Whenever she tells you TO PRINT NOTES YOURSELF do NOT “forget to” because trust me you will need them, mrs grigsby likes to give you pop quizzes with the notes you should have printed out.” – Sarah V.

“To be successful you need to keep all the notes she gives you, because the notes are exactly what's on the test. A piece of advice is when you enter her classroom, stop talking and get ready to work.” – Eli S.

 

“To be successful in this class, you need to study the material she gives you to study. One piece of advice I have is to actually study. My overall best tip for a successful year is to enjoy it as much as you can but also be ready to learn and get prepared for high school.” – Clay G.
