HPMS will present its Fall play, Legend of Sleepy Hollow with four performances October 24-October 27.
This play, adapted from a Washington Irving story and under the direction of Allie McKenna, includes an all-student cast and crew of 63 and one student assistant director who will bring the fabled story of Ichabod Crane to life. Will the somewhat goofy Ichabod get the girl of his dreams, Katrina? Or will Katrina's boisterous boyfriend, Brom Bones kick him out of town? And, most worrisome of all, will the legendary phantom, the Headless Horseman, catch up to him on a rainy night? Audience members will need to see for themselves in this spooky show alive with hilarious action and fun.
Performances will be held in the HPMS auditorium and are open to the public:
- Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased beginning Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the HPMS cafeteria during lunch, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., or in front of the auditorium 30 minutes prior to each show.
