Over the week of February 27th, MIS Raiders in the Student Leadership Club have gone forth to serve by hosting a fundraiser to help provide malaria nets. The program formerly known as Nothing But Nets, now United to Beat Malaria, is a program funded by the United Nations to prevent the spread of malaria in countries across the African continent.
Students from around the campus were invited to bring $10 donations to shoot baskets for charity, with each MIS House being assigned a day to participate. The Raiders showed their love for supporting a good cause and have since raised more than $3,000 for those in need.
