This is the start of my 4th year in Education as an 8th Grade Science Teacher and first year teaching in Dallas. I am a proud graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education K-8. I will be teaching 8th Grade Science and coaching 7th Grade Volleyball and 7th/8th Grade Girls Track here at Highland Park Middle School. I was recently married this past summer which is what brought me to Texas. I am thrilled to now be living in Dallas and teaching for Highland Park Interdependent School District! One thing I firmly believe is that the success of our students relies on a strong partnership between teachers, parents, and colleagues. Working collectively, I believe that we can create an environment that fosters growth, learning, and mutual respect. By maintaining open lines of communication, supporting each other's efforts, and sharing our unique perspectives, we can ensure that each student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to reach their full potential. Together, we can continue growing a community that not only values education but also nurtures the development of well-rounded, confident individuals as we continue this tradition of excellence. All Raiders can achieve their goals in science class when they regularly put forth their best efforts, take responsibility, and remain focused. Let's have a great school year.
Go Raiders!
