Faculty Directory Bio
Srta. Newsom teaches 5th-grade Spanish at McCulloch Intermediate School. She graduated with a B.A. in Spanish from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and a M.A. in Southwest Studies from the University of New Mexico. She studied abroad for one month in Mexico and an academic year in Argentina and Spain! From 2022-2024, she taught Spanish at Highland Park High School. She strives to create a safe, welcoming, and fun learning environment for her students! Outside of the classroom, she enjoys drawing, singing, and walking her dog, Annie. She is very excited to be a part of the Raider family and to help her students achieve their academic goals!
