Genevieve S. Croft
5th Grade Theatre Arts
Ms. Croft is glad to be joining the MIS Raider family this year! She has served as a Theatre Arts Educator for 13 years (High School and Middle School) and looks forward to starting a new journey with the 5th grade classes in the fall. She has worked in various professional and community theaters across the Dallas Fort Worth area as an actor, director and designer. She is a graduate of The University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts, and a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Master of Liberal Studies in Theatre Arts. Her passion for the performing arts industry extends into Radio, having worked at KNTU-FM (88.1 The One) at UNT as a Drive-Time DJ, and as a news anchor. She has additional experience working with Enterprise Radio (formerly CBS RADIO) Dallas (98.7 KLUV-FM) in the Promotions and Programming Departments. Genevieve also serves as an Associate Theatre Critic for the nationally syndicated publication, "The Column by John Garcia." She is married to her husband, Will, and they have one son, Paul, who will also be joining the MIS family as a 6th grader. In her spare time, Genevieve enjoys traveling, crafting, cooking, and collecting all things Beatles. She has seen Paul McCartney in concert 9 times! Genevieve is most excited to have "real" theatre back in the schools again this year. The show must go on!
