Hello MIS Families! My name is Mackensie Thomas and I will be teaching 5th grade Language Arts for House of Agnew this year! I grew up in Plano, TX and graduated from Bishop Lynch High School. After high school I attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. After graduation, I came back to the Dallas area and spent my first three years teaching 5th grade in Frisco ISD. Outside of the classroom I love watching Scots and Aggie Football, drawing/painting or taking my dog Georgia on walks. I am beyond excited to join the HPISD community and can't wait to meet you and your family this year!
