Welcome to 6th Grade Science
Looking forward to making this year’s science a fun and enjoyable learning experience for all!
Background: This is my 9th year of teaching, but my 1st year teaching at MIS. Before moving to Texas, I lived in Charlotte, NC, where I was a 7th grade science teacher for 4 years and a Special Education teacher for 3 years.
I attended the University of Pittsburgh for college where I received my bachelor’s in Applied Developmental Psychology in 2013 and my master’s in Early Childhood Education (PreK-4) and Special Education (PreK-8) in 2014.
In my spare time, I love to go on walks and hikes with my rescue dog Levi as well as spend time with family and friends. I am also quite adventurous! I love to snowboard, wakesurf, ride rollercoasters, and skydive (only have once, but would do it again)!
