About Me!

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio (my hometown, Go Spurs! :), and my graduate degree in school counseling from Lamar University. I have been a school counselor for 8 years, and prior to that, I taught 7-8th grade science. I am married to my wonderful husband Jerry and have two amazing stepsons Val and Luke. I also have two adorable fur babies Mambo and Marlee May. I love hiking, biking, riding my peloton, yoga, cooking, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I absolutely LOVE being a school counselor and working with my incredible students and their families! I feel so blessed to be a part of the HPISD family, this district is truly the BEST! :)
