We have so many fun things planned for our 9th year of the MIS/HPMS Raiders Best Buddies Chapter! Come join us!
There are 3 ways you can participate in this amazing organization:
· Peer Buddy: (7th AND 8th GRADERS ONLY) Peer Buddies are matched with a Buddy and have out-of-school time commitments/expectations in order to develop friendships with their Buddy. Peer Buddies are also required to attend a meeting in advisory once a month, whole chapter meetings throughout the school year, and chapter events outside of school. Students wishing to be a Peer Buddy (matched with a Buddy) will complete an interview process at the end of September.
· Family Member: (5th-8th Graders) Students are matched with a buddy and peer buddy to form a "family." Family members also have commitments/expectations to attend events outside of school, and whole chapter meetings periodically during school. Students wishing to be involved in Best Buddies as a family member will complete an interview process at the end of October.
· Member: (5th-8th Graders) Members are expected to participate in chapter events and meetings, but do not have specific time commitments with Buddies or Families outside of school.
If you are interested in being a peer buddy, family member, or member, please sign up by Wednesday, September 4! You MUST sign up to be able to attend socials and events.
