Welcome to the 6th grade World Cultures!  I hope you have had a great summer filled with friends, family, and new special memories. It is so fun to finally know you’re going to be in my class, and I can’t wait to get to know you! I hope that you are ready for a fantastic year. I know that this year may appear to be full of challenges, but I strongly believe it will allow us to grow and be all that you want  to be! This may mean being called up to be a leader. I already know you are up for the challenge!

This year in World Studies we will be mastering concepts, exploring cultures hands on, studying current events, researching countries, and learning about the history of our world are all just some of the things we will encounter throughout the year. I can’t wait to learn and celebrate things that are important to you as well.
