World Studies
The sixth grade World Studies Class will travel to all seven continents throughout the year. Prior to our travel we will learn basic information about our civilization to maximize our experience throughout our travels. Students will be able to define a civilizations culture, geography, economic system, history, government, art, and science. They will take the knowledge of these components to understand, appreciate, compare, celebrate and connect various places around the world. The students understanding will be assessed through various forms, such as projects, presentations, test, collaborations, higher level application and dialogue.
